ABOUT JOHNNY 6 STABLES
Johnny 6 Stables is a professional, family-run equestrian program based in Huntington Beach, California. Our foundation is in traditional Saddlebred and gaited-horse training, with a strong emphasis on correct saddleseat fundamentals.
While our roots are in the Saddlebred discipline, our program is not limited to one breed or style of riding. We offer instruction and training in saddleseat, hunt seat, and western, tailoring our approach to the individual horse and rider.
Johnny 6 Stables provides private riding lessons, professional training rides, as well as horse leases and sales. We work with youth and adult riders across all experience levels, emphasizing correct horsemanship, safety, and thoughtful, individualized instruction.
Our program has experience training and exhibiting horses at A-rated competitions, including showing at the World Championships. In addition, we have bred and developed horses with a focus on quality movement, temperament, and longevity.
At Johnny 6 Stables, we believe strong fundamentals transcend discipline. Our calm, supportive training environment is designed to develop confident riders and well-prepared horses—whether in the show ring or beyond.

Amanda Groce
Amanda Groce serves as Head Trainer at Johnny 6 Stables, providing senior oversight, advanced instruction, and strategic guidance within the program. She advises on horse development, performance planning, and acquisitions, ensuring a high standard of technical correctness, horsemanship, and long-term vision throughout the stable.
Program Director
Johnny Groce
Johnny Groce serves as Program Director of the Johnny 6 Riding Club, overseeing program operations, rider onboarding, and evaluations. She works directly with riders and horses within the program to support consistency, development, and continuity across instruction and performance, and represents the program through showing and catch riding.
