Rider Evaluation

Program Interview 

All new riders at Johnny 6 Stables begin with an Rider Evaluation Lesson and Program Interview. This initial session allows us to assess riding ability, goals, and overall fit within our program.

 

During the evaluation, riders are thoughtfully paired with a suitable horse and guided through a lesson tailored to their experience level. In addition to riding, we take time to get to know each rider and discuss expectations, horsemanship values, and long-term goals.

Johnny 6 Stables is a membership-based riding club, and our program is built around a shared culture of respect, consistency, and commitment to horsemanship. This process ensures that both the rider and our program are well-aligned, creating a positive and supportive environment for everyone involved.

Following the evaluation, we will recommend the most appropriate next step—whether that is continued lessons, membership placement, or additional preparation before joining the Riding Club.
